Worst movie i ever saw would probably be Earth Girls are Easy, that's a real turkey

Worst film on DVD that i own, got a few, but think i'll go with The Stendahl Syndrome, gave up after 30 minutes of that one

oh yeah....Starship Troopers 2 gets my vote as well, loved the first one, hated the second

Serves me right really i buy them cos they sound good on the overview but then they don't live up to expectations, i should really get out more, you know, go to the movies for a change

Spanglish ,it was just horrible.
We didn't know what film noir was. We just knew that Cary Grant and the big stars got all the lights.
We lit our sets with cigaretee butts... Robert Mitchum

- Election (boring as hell) -> can't sell because there is no german release

Do you mean the movie with Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick? If yes, there is a German release. I have it.

I think Peter is talking about the Hong Kong film by Johnnie To.

On DVD: it's an unfortunate tie (no pun intended) between:

Dogville (insane, pretentious garbage)
Boxing Helena (pure, vile, *#$@$e)

In a theater: Goodbye Dragon Inn (bored to death)

I've never seen it, but people tell me Anus Magillicutty has to  be the most worthless piece of wasted celluloid in the history of the movies.

Thoughts, discussion?

Wow! So I'm not the only one here who owns that, or at least has seen it? However, as slow as it was I really didn't mind it, but then I'd read a review of it beforehand. It was a blind buy at K-Mart for about $4 so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Hell, I coulda toldja that just from the theatrical release! I was hoping it'd be better than it was and left the theater disappointed in it. If you DO want to see a somewhat better version of that story, keeping more with Bradbury's take since he also did the script, then get the Ray Bradbury Theater box set (check my collection). It's got the TV version from the late 1980s but it's still better. Well, except for the dinosaur puppet, which is pretty poor itself, just as bad as the movie was. At least the episode is only 24 minutes long.

Anyway, judging from what everyone has to say about them (since I'd never seen any of 'em myself) I'd say everything that Uwe Boll's done has to be right up there with the worst of worst
I've got a photographic memory. I just keep forgetting to put the film in.

Napolean Dynamite -- the worst piece of rat vomit I've ever seen. I got thru about 20 minutes before I turned the dvd off!  Good thing I never went to the theater for this...I would have walked out!

Helly Mary Lou: Prom Night II

Utter rubbish...I rented it because I was considering buying the Prom Night box set collection.  Won't bother now!

For a long time Lost in Translation is my number one waste of time followed closely by About Schmidt.  I recently saw a new number one that I don't think will ever be beat:

Wow, some of you guys have some good movies listed as bad

I watched "Just Married" - "Voll verheiratet"  Watched most of the movie at 16x and went to normal speed if it looked like the scene might be funny

So I take it you didn't go to normal speed?

Last week I had the misfortune to watch "Last Days", a terrible turd by Gus van Sant. Horrible, plain horrible. The main character does a lot of walking, sitting and looking generally spaced out, and he mumbles a lot. Apparently it's based on Kurt Cobain's last days. If I was that guy, I would killed myself too.

The dvd is now in the garbagebin. At least I got it for free.

Whew! I gotta take shelter - but I loved Dogville and Lost in Translation

However, here are my most hated movies:
* The Forgotten
* Dark Water
* The Fog (old version - I don't know the new one)
* The Exorzist - The Director's Cut (Gosh, how much can mankind bungle by recutting a perfect diamond...)
Denn es ist, was es ist - sagt die Liebe.
