I want so send my list of dvd's in plain text to a buddy but can't seem to save it out in any othe way than the rapport. And I don't want to print it, just send it as a .doc or .txt file.

Can this be done?

You could download CUTEPDF (just google it) and send it as an Acrobat file...

PDF ffs! I hate pdf. Is there no other formats you can save it to? I would like to generate a word document.

By the way. HOW do you get the report over to CUTEPDF? I just can't seem to figure it out..

CutePDF creates a special printer for PDF files. So you just start the report, go to print it as usual, but choose the CutePDF printer instead of your real printer. And that's it.

I have installed CutePDF but no printers have been initialized. There are no printers under "printers" in the control panel. I have tried to restart the cutepdf. But nothing happens. I get the message that there are no printers installed in DVD profiler.

I can't seem to find any options for installing a printer in cutepdf either... Are my version crippled? I downloaded CutePDF Writer (Freeware). And installed the Ghostscript.

Do I HAVE to have a real printer installed? Is that it?

What am I missing?

Not sure about that.. I'll try it and let you know

EDIT:

It installed without a hitch.. Not sure what might be wrong on your side. You probably will have better luck asking for support on CutePDF's site though.

Thanks for trying.

I'll contact them later if I can't get the website creator thingy up and working. Would be sweet to get my collection on a web instead of a bad pdf document. Would not have much use of the pdf then

Why don't you use the web link you already have here

not that you seem to have many dvds.. perhaps you need to load them up via the programme?

That's definitely a possibility, yes. But I would rather use Companion to generate my own web page. Would be much faster for my internal users. Though I seem to have a problem generating the web page at this moment.

I have alot more titles than that. It was only for testing purpose. LOL what nice titles I've got

Solution for CutePDF printer not showing up:
The CutPDF wrighter I had problems with was version 2.5 (freeware). I found version 2.3b and installed that one. Poff! The printer was installed. So I got a backup solution in the PDF dokument if the companion web generating goes to hell.

Thanks for the replay guys
