Would a Mac version be usefull --> Yes
Will there be any ---> NO

Look how many years IVS trys to make a pocket profiler or better when the last beta has been released! So you can be sure that there is and will be no Mac Version. And in my opinion Pocket or Mac Versions are secondary if there are still so much bugs and faults in the main program, and important improvements have to be done.

Thanks Lopek, You're my hero - *swoon*.
This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,--
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.

You know Lopek, I've ben thinking...

Perhaps we're being a little hard on him. I mean do we really have the right to challenge someone who has achieved a monumental 25,499 posts on this forum. I mean, that's quite possibily his greatest achievement...Perhaps we should show more respect.

Skip - That was totally tongue in cheek by the way.

If I add all the postings I've made over the years in ALL forums I've EVER visited, I won't even get close.

He's like Episode III. Looks great from the outside, but is somewhat shallow.

LOL, consumer need...oh yeah. We have 500,000 users and we have maybe gotten 1000 request for a Mac version. Let's see that represents 0.20%. That is Two Tenths of ONE PERCENT. Yikes!!!! That's a huge consumer base......NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

What is all this 'WE' talk?  You don't work for IVS.  You have no idea how many requests they have gotten for a Mac version.  I would be willing to bet they don't even know how many they have gotten...though it does seem to be enough to warrant a mention in their knowledge base.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.

Would you be happier if type the way Bob Dole speaks.Skipnet50 doesn't know he can but he'll try, if it'll make you happy.

It would be better still, when you do not know, you don't bother posting anything like this at all. Guessing or making up (whichever it is you do) does not help these discussion, it just confuses and skews the situation.

I knew skipnet50 was plural.

Skipnet50 says we are a Community of about 500,000 strong, Skipnet50 has seen about 1000 posts requesting a Mac version, this out of over 150,000. So Skipnet50 repeats there is not a huge market out there for a Mac version, particularly when you can already run it on Mac under various forms of Windows emulation.

I don't want to advertise a mac version, but the community does not consist of 500.000 activly posting members.

The word 'WE', in the context you used it, indicates IVS.  I understand writing is not your favorite form of communication, but that's basic English.

My happiness is not dependent on anything you do.  However, I would prefer you use the singular 'I' rather than the plural 'we'...unless, of course, you are more than one person.

And Bob Dole is an idiot, but if you want to emulate him...feel free.
