Hello
I noticed some older threads where people were trying to work support for Ipods out, and Ive found some inferior software(CATVid) that will export to ipod.
Has there been any more progress on this?
Thanks for the help.

Yes I realize its a "DVD Management" program. In fact, Ive know that since about 3 years ago when I started using it to manage over1000 DVDs in my collection.
The ipod would be used the same as the Palm or other Mobile devices.
As I stated before, there are at least 2 other inferior programs which support ipods. Im just hoping that DVD Profiler will either do the same or release a program that will.

Dude, you know that the iPod can handle text, do you? DVDPedia for example can export to the iPod Text format. I don't see why this is different to a Pocket Profiler version.

We'll always have Paris ... And by Paris I mean XML-Export
What format has this IPod-Textfile?

I figured out a pretty slick work around!
Export as an XML file, download the trial version of movie collector, import your xml file (it says import as dvd profiler), plug in your Ipod and then hit export to ipod.
If you do it without details to save the notes space in the Ipod.
I just wanted the names and dates listed so that Id stop accidentally buying multiples of the same movie.

Hope this helps someone.

DVDProfiler can already export directly to .csv - just select the fields you want (like title, purchase date, etc), change the resulting file's extension to .txt and stick that on your iPod. No need to do anything fancy.
