| Posted: | | | | I have been editing somew simple list reports by deleting, adding and editing fields in the body of the report and changing field lengths. My problem is, since I can't get the header and body layout to show up in the same view, I am having a lot of difficulty aligning /editing the existing heading to match the position and length of the new/edited field.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to have a report layout view, show the Header, Body and Footer info at the same time? |

You can then enter numeric values to define consistent positioning for each of your controls. You can do this in both the Column Header and DVD Item tabs so make sure you use the same values to position items consistently in the Header and the body of the report.
This means you can place things exactly to the pixels without requiring surgeon like fine motor skills and a really big magnifying glass.
Hope this helps and adds hours to your life. |

| Posted: | | | | Kingn, I kind of started doing that last night after I had already committed myself to a number of body area, feild edits. It still would be a lot esier if one, you could eyeball the header and the body together and two, streatch the field and text box like most data bases I have used. |
