Not very important, but just a minor annoyance... I'd like the contribution system to detect a difference between:

a) 'Full Frame' checkbox ticked, ratio 1.33:1 entered

b) 'Full Frame' checkbox ticked, ratio field left empty.

At present, when someone first submitted a profile following the (b) example, you can enter the 1.33 ratio locally, but it can't be submitted, as the system doesn't detect a difference. A possible workaround could be changing aspect ratio to something other than 1.33:1, and than changing it back, but that isn't very pretty...

Why worry about it?  Full Frame IS 1.33:1, or Academy Standard.

If you run the charts and I would think reports, the chart for Video ratios lists based on the value NOT on the FF or P&S check boxes. It is a small thing, but most of us pick nits or we would not spend some much time updating profile for our collections.

Pete, what would you like to see as well (I admit, this Feature Request has me a bit confused). Isn't this something that could be handled through the Rules?

If a then b, if c then not b...? (I am using the letters, as I am right now not even sure what it should say (having had my share of wine doesn't really help either).

To be able to upload the correct aspect ratio for Full Framed when it is missing. This cannot be done with the rules as the program don't see the difference when Full Framed is missing the aspect ratio and when it isn't.

Right now If I have something that is Full Framed (usually older TV Shows) and there is no aspect ratio assigned... if I update the aspect ratio to 1.33:1 and try to upload the correction I can't because the program don't see the change.
