So I'm probably one of the few who has a fairly accurate purchase history for my collection.

Even though I had over 500 about 80% of those were ordered from Play so I could go back through my Order History and find out the date I bought them and the price I paid. Similarly with quite a few of the remaining 20% the online store had a full history.
There are a few I bought on the high street in post-Christmas sales which I had to take a good guess at but I think I got most of the data!

I think it was somewhere around 1500-1600 titles when I first started using the program. Took forever!

And even then a few months later I was still finding a few titles that I had somehow overlooked on my shelves, so added they went then.

I think it was about a 100.
But the bad part is: I only started to use the purchase info a few hundred DVDs later and had to make up some of the old dates and prices.

Just over 100. Like many others I had to figure out the purchase info. Some of it I just gave it a best guess. Most were purchased right around their release or were received as gifts. Made it a bit easier.

I'm very glad I founf it when I did...although I would probably only have around 350 if I had not found this place

I actually didn't use any purchase info on my first batch. All the new ones I have been entering purchase info. That way I can keep track of all DVD's since going to profiler.

I was also renumbering the entire collection in alpha order every time I entered a new title. Since the first of the year, all 2007 DVD's are in order of purchase. That way I can instantly tell which ones I've bought this year. I think once the year ends, I'll renumber by alpha and start over for 08.

400 and haven't finished yet because a lot of my DVDs are not in the database so actually I am becoming a BIG contributer!!! right now I have entered 180 DVDs and 100 contributions (80 released)!!!

By the way, I live in Mexico so a lot of titles are not in the database, so I have to find them by title, correct the title, and all the other data and also scan the covers, anyway IM HAPPY!!!

So true.

I had just under 200 and had been collecting for 3 years. Last year, I bought 463.

Glad you're enjoying contributing as well as profiling the data; the more the merrier!
