Some post somewhere mentioned that Invelos is already in existence for over a year.

To answer the question posted in the subject line...

I'm pretty sure I have a good working understanding of the General Theory of Relativity, along with Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle.

And I'm certain I know the Zone System, the Rule of Thirds, and why I can never get a date with a woman.

So I'm pretty set here.

I've noticed a lot of people seem to want to place a lot of blame on Slicer, but I've rarely heard anyone else mention Ken Meade, the other co-plaintiff.

I think it's presumptuous to assume that Jesse was the cause of the problem.  For all we know, Meade, or one of the other principal partners in InterVocative might be responsible for this mess.

Not that I'm trying to place blame or anything, just considering other options.

Only Jesse, Ken and Ken were named in the court docs. Don't you think if it were one of the others they would have been named?

Not that I should be commenting on this, but since it's on a public court web site, there are 5 parties listed:

InterVocative Software, LLC
Ken Meade
Jesse Slicer
Ken Cole
Invelos Software, Inc.

Take that for what it's worth.

But there is still only three of you in court with each of the other two business names being represented by you and Meade and Cole with the other party ( Invelos)..

On the web site it says Issuance  Due Date: 05/05/2007

Could this mean that we could get some sort of news in 4 days time? I can't quite decipher the meaning of the terms used though.

I believe those were the initial summons to Ken Cole & Invelos. Issued at 05 Apr. Had to be served (delivered) until 05 May (due date).
They were, however, served earlier (10th. Apr.) as you can see on the next line of each of the summons (the one for K. Cole, and the one for Invelos).

Note that one of the principal parties named as a plaintiff includes InterVocative Software , LLC.  IANAL, but this could mean that the suit might have been filed by any of the six people who are listed on the business license, but not listed anywhere else in the court documents.

I'd say, one of the five people...

In the midst of all this public bickering, "Let it Rot" was released as a film, an album, and a lawsuit. In 1970, Dirk sued Stig, Nasty, and Barry; Barry sued Dirk, Nasty, and Stig; Nasty sued Barry, Dirk, and Stig; and Stig sued himself accidentally. It was the beginning of a golden era for lawyers, but for the Rutles, live on a London rooftop, it was the beginning of the end.

I know if law was the solution to the problem everything would have been solved when Moses decided to come down off the mountain instead of staying up there and charging by the hour.

But what the heck, let's just keep making laws maybe one day the problems will be solved.
