HOORAY!

"All is silent in the halls of the dead. All is forgotten in the stone halls of the dead. Behold the stairways which stand in darkness; behold the rooms of ruin. These are the halls of the dead where the spiders spin and the great circuits fall quiet, one by one."

I seriously doubt it. But I Don't care either.

Man, what can happen in a little over an hour. I leave work, Invelos is still down. I arrive home, eat, then come on the computer.

Invelos is BAAAACK! And it's all resolved too!

It shouldn't be too hard to guess the basics based off the information we've been given.

Ken bought out the other IVS partners.  The fact that they settled out of court tells you that they were able to find a figure ($$$) that allowed everyone to walk away with a smile on their face.  Ken is now the sole owner of IVS.

The only questions remaining is will this site remain open to support those who can't upgrade to 3.0 because of outdated versions of Windows or if Ken will move 2.4/2.5 beta over to the new site and shut this one down (most likely pointing www.intervocative.com to www.invelos.com).  To be honest, I don't see a reason for this site to exist anymore.

And if that doesn't answer your questions, you could always post your questions here or at Invelos and see if Ken/Jesse will answer them.  Or send them a PM.  I've been in contact with Jesse since the beginning of this whole mess and regardless of some of the crap that was posted here in recently, you'll find him very friendly and approachable.  He's not the monster some tried to turn him into.

I'd like to take your lead to leave a big word of appraisal to Jesse.
That let us hang around here, speaking of a competition product, and  with several of the "gents" around referring to him in very unflattering terms.
For doing what he was not forced to do (and that most wouldn't), my public thanks.

For all of those bashing IVS/Jesse/Ken/Invelos/DVD Profiler, and jumping immediately to other softwares because 3 weeks was a long time for a judicial action... good riddance!

I just hope Jesse is okay, despite the vituperous and slanderous comments made about him by a vast majority of the (formerly faithful) users of this forum and 2.4

I agree with everyone above.  Thanks to both sides for reaching a settlement.  Hope no one is left with hard feelings.

I’d like you to take a look at this gun. The balance is excellent, this trigger responds to a pressure of one ounce. This gun was handcrafted to my specifications—and I rarely draw it unless I mean to use it. --Paladin
