I can't speak for others, but I would guess that like myself, most people would gladly give up the new and improved version and go back to the older version just so you, themadchef, doesn't get left behind in the 90's.  What do you say guys?

Not only will dvdprofiler leave you behind, but so will many many other programs and updates

We didn't intentionally leave Me/98 off the compatibility list; we actually worked quite hard to keep it compatibile.  However, in the end, we needed to make some hard decisions to support the 3.0 system, and some of them required elimination of 98/Me compatibility.

Whether or not you wish to run 3.0, I strongly recommend upgrading your operating system.  Microsoft is no longer releasing security updates for 98/Me, and there are several well-known system exploits out there, some of which require only visiting a malicous website.  Anti-virus and firewall software cannot protect against some of these threats.

DVD Profiler 3 works quite well on Windows 2000 and XP Home, both of which can be had for far less than $200.  Check ebay, I picked up a copy of 2000 for $25 recently.

*EDIT* Didn't catch your post; good to see you solved the issue.
