From what I understood... I haven't got this special edition myself, but am surfing for it that it only holds the towel and the movie Dawn of the Dead

Thanks JP_S, I'm surfing too, but still haven't found anything.

Saw in another thread that House of Flying Daggers is in the top 5 of your gonna order soon list. You may want to have a look at this Korean "Acrylic Case Limited 2-Disc Edition  :

Hong Kong also has a very nice Collector Limited Edition, but it's too big for my taste. The Japanese one doesn't have English subtitles.

Out-of-stock in most places, but a few copies can still be found at a couple of remote e-tailers. PM me if you're interested (priority to active participants to this thread  )

Yep that's the one
I've got the A Better Tomorrow one and this one would look pretty good next to it(having 2 out of my 3 fave Bruce films in the set is a real bonus, tho).
Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find anything...

He, he!!! This thread is developing nicely. Com'on guys, show me yours!!!

I've got a PM asking me about a T3 Limited Edition. There are quite a few out there, but the coolest for me is the French one (1500 copies only). I've already posting a picture in another thread, but here it is again

Isn't it coooooolllllll???? The small device is a USB key.

Are you sure it is the same one?  As Jedi pointed out to me, the writing is slightly different on the packaging.

I've seen several variances. On Sazuma (and most web sites), on the right of the "front cover", 30th Anniversary is written on 2 lines. On some other images, there is something I can't read, written on 1 line. On my copy, there is ... nothing written at all (just the ideograms on the left).

Otherwise, packaging is mostly the same and all variants come from same distributor (Spectrum). There can be several reasons to this. The most frequent one is that the photos were taken for advertising before the product is finalised. Sometimes, an additional impress is made on the cover for a special event (memorial day, etc...).

Jim

Edited: Didn't see Flatwheels's post while I was typing mine. My copy is like his, nothing written on the left. Could also be it's because this is a re-print (I bought it only last December)
