Contributions are evaluated by our team of contribution specialists before they are integrated into the online database. Depending on current load, this can take from one to several weeks.

The default parental control password is 'acknowledgement'.
To reset the password to the default password, select Tools->Options->Utilities->Reset Parental Control Password.
Make sure you have updated your DVD Profiler registration with your Premium Key by going to 'Tools', 'Program Registration'. Next, close the Program Registration window and click on 'Tools', 'Options', the 'Display' tab and uncheck the 'Show advertisements' option. Click 'OK' and the banner ads will be removed.
In order to protect account security, the user's actual password is not downloaded or displayed. The asterisks indicate only that a password is assigned to the account. The number of asterisks displayed is always 12, regardless of the length of the user's actual password.
Click on the 'Registation' menu item above. This page will display the key registered to the account you are currently logged into the site with.
First, attempt to repair the database by doing a Tools->Options Utilitites tab, Repair Profile Database. If that doesn't clear up the problem Backup Profile Database, uninstall, reinstall and Restore Profile Database.
Steps to try: 1. Disable any download accelerators may be running. 2. Disable any pop-up blockers (proxy style especially) that may be running. If it allows for exceptions, add www.intervocative.com and static.intervocative.com. 3. Same as #2 but with software firewalls. 4. Check the settings under Tools->Options... Online tab. Especially check the proxy server settings if you are behind a corporate firewall. 5. Enable the "Use alternate Internet connection method" checkbox on the same screen. 6. Any combination of #1-4 with #5.
All the personal information applicable to your local database is editable by selecting DVD->Personalize from DVD Profiler's main menu. You can also select the Personalize button () from the toolbar. Information editable from the Personalize window includes Collection Number, Purchase Place, Purchase Price, Purchase Date, Disc Location & Slot, Wishlist Priority, and Review.
We've corrected this issue for the next program release (2.4.1). In the mean time, we've uploaded a patched dvdpro.exe file. We recommend this solution only for expert computer users. If you're not comfortable making file changes to your PC, please wait for the fix via the upcoming version 2.4.1.
To install this file, first open your DVD Profiler directory (generally C:\Program Files\InterVocative Software\DVD Profiler), and rename the existing dvdpro.exe. Then, download the patched dvdpro.exe file here and place it in the DVD Profiler directory.
It cannot be downloaded because it is not out of alpha testing as of yet. Premium DVD Profiler registrants will very likely be able to be part of the beta test when it comes available.DVD Profiler Pocket is a separate product from DVD Profiler and there will be a price associated with it when it comes out. Pricing details, including any potential discounts for current DVD Profiler premium registrants have not been fully worked out yet.As we have stated in the past, we will not put up release dates until beta testing is nearing completion. We've been burned too many times in the past for putting up a release timetable. However, as many of happy customers will tell you, it will be worth the wait and it will be available on Monday*.*Note that which Monday isn't stated.
